  Our seeds

The roots of mutual aid grow from small gestures.

With the joy we feel when you plant your seed in this struggle, we’ll sing a really catchy song into the ears of the farmworkers as they head into the fields. That way, even though listening to music while working is absurdly forbidden, they’ll have that little tune stuck in their heads all day. (Symbolic reward) Freedom is won from within!

We’ll also publish a post with your name on jornalerasenlucha.org, thanking you for your contribution to the ongoing fight for decent work and a dignified life for everyone. (You can also choose to contribute anonymously.)

  Protection kit

We all know that protecting our health comes first.

Thanks to your contribution, we’ll grease the ears of the farmworkers and warehouse workers so the shouting and rudeness slide right off them (Symbolic reward). We’ll save a little for mops, because with everything that gets said, the floor is going to end up covered in sexism, racism and hate.

When the Goteo campaign ends, you’ll be able to attend an online talk where we, the Jornaleras de Huelva en Lucha, will explain, with a bit less joking around, the reality we want to transform.

We’ll also publish a post with your name on jornalerasenlucha.org, thanking you for your contribution to the ongoing fight for decent work and a dignified life for everyone. (You can also choose to contribute anonymously.)

  Tool kit

They say making and using tools is what makes us human...

Thanks to your contribution, we’ll have a team in Japan inventing a device that, strapped to the abdomen, absorbs urine directly through the skin. That way, warehouse workers will finally never have to go to the bathroom! And they won’t be reprimanded or have that time docked from their wages. (Symbolic reward) Because... it wasn’t treating people well that made us human... right?

  Wooden crate

What’s the point of all this picking and picking if we don’t know how to store it all up!

Thanks to your contribution, we’ll be able to make wise use of the productivity lists that bosses illegally share in the field group chats. Instead of using this information to threaten the workers at the bottom of the lists with dismissal, we’ll finally be able to compile a national ranking and find the fastest farmworker to put forward for the Guinness World Records. (Symbolic reward)

  Lunch box

How lovely to stop for a sandwich in the middle of the workday!

With this extra energy, we’ll be able to firmly carry the invisible load of running a household and balancing work and family when it’s impossible to know what time you’ll start and finish work, or which days you’ll have off and which you won’t. (Symbolic reward)

  Land

Land: our livelihood, our home as human beings.

Thanks to your contribution, we’ll be able to give women who reach thirty years of work, chaining one temporary contract after another, a square meter of meadow! Let’s not be held back by the fact that no bank will grant us a mortgage: we all deserve to own our own land. (Symbolic reward)

When the Goteo campaign ends, we’ll arrange a private online meeting with you to give you a more serious picture of the reality we, the Jornaleras de Huelva en Lucha, want to transform.

We’ll also publish a post with your name on jornalerasenlucha.org, thanking you for your contribution to the ongoing fight for decent work and a dignified life for everyone. (You can also choose to contribute anonymously.)

  Water

  The sun

And with you, there was light… and it lit up Andalusia.

Beloved, warm, sunny and fertile Andalusia, how could we Jornaleras honor your customs? We want to live up to what the world expects of a good Andalusian woman: spending the day sitting on a terrace drinking ice-cold beers, living off our little handout. But... the little handout just isn’t enough!!!

Do the math: if we’re earning very little and paying our regular taxes, plus twelve months of agricultural social security contributions (which have gone up to €127 a month), just to receive the agricultural unemployment benefit (about €430 a month) for six months... the numbers don’t add up to support our families and keep up our traditions!

With your contribution, we’ll install a free beer tap in the town squares of Huelva. We can’t let our big, juicy stereotypes disappear without a fight! (Symbolic reward)

When the Goteo campaign ends, we’ll arrange a private online meeting with you to give you a more serious picture of the reality we, the Jornaleras de Huelva en Lucha, want to transform.
